No matter the host, from Karina, to Matthew, to Nicole, this is one of THE best children’s literature podcasts around! It’s filled with inclusive book recommendations, author interviews, and more!
I adore this podcast. I’m a youth services librarian and it’s so incredible to have a podcast like this that just lets you do a bit of a deep dive into the magic that is children’s literature. We so often think these books are just for children, but this podcast reminds us that the lessons within the best books for children are just relevant—if not more so—to us as all we grow!
Love this podcast so much! I appreciate the deeper dive into topics that are so important to bring to the forefront and that are not always highlighted in the industry at large. Thank you so much for your work and these conversations. Appreciate you both, Nicole and Matthew!
I am always looking forward to new episodes of this podcast! I love Nicole and Matthew, their insights on topical subjects and their heartfelt reviews. Highly recommended :)
As a teacher who believes that children’s literature is the best and most highly underrated art forms out there, I find so much light and joy in listening to this podcast. They discuss relevant and needed topics and emphasize the importance of exposure and discussion of these topics with our children! When listening, I am constantly looking up the books they discuss and add them to my online shopping carts. I often go back into the show notes later to make recommendations to others. more
