We end this series by paying tribute to the great prophets of the Restoration: Joseph Smith.

Many, in and out of the church, hold on to an incomplete narrative regarding the ban of black males holding the priesthood. In this discussion, we add a few key pieces of information to the puzzle.

The Book of Mormon might be the scripture FOR the restoration, but the D&C is the scripture produced BY the restoration. It is a unique book of scripture and requires a different approach to extract its powerful truths.

The covenants of the chapel invite us to leave the Telestial world (room) and enter the Terrestrial. The ordinances of the temple then invite us to let go all all things Terrestrial and enter the celestial world (room).

The Lord has declared that every person on Earth must hear the Gospel in their own language. That then becomes the duty to every soul who accepts the gospel; to peach the gospel to others.

One of the great missions placed upon the shoulders of the Latter-day Saints is to save the dead. That includes responsibilities on both sides of the veil.

Three heavenly personnages came to Joseph Smith in the Kirtland Temple and restored essential keys. Understanding those keys and they role they play in the Church today will help us fulfill our responsibility to gather and save Israel.

To understand the role of the Church in these latter-days, we look at the early saints' attempt to build the New Jerusalem.
