  • Love the show other than the constant arguing

Long time listener since 101x days. Glad you guys are keeping the show running and it’s sorta like the old days but Jason beating up on Nick is getting old and not as fun to listen to anymore. Hopefully yall can do more fun games and more interesting content without the constant barrage of Jason needing to prove Nick wrong all the time and dragging out annoying arguing. Bring back more Deb!

But Wait! There's More
Q: What are your thoughts on how technology has affected recording and artist collaboration?
Technology allows recording from home and remote collaboration, saving costs and enabling flexibility, but can reduce the shared, in-person energy of creating together in the same room or performing in front of audiences.
But Wait! There's More
Q: Can you describe how co-writing works today compared to the past?
Co-writing now often starts with a demo in the producer's studio, followed by the other band members adding their parts, which is different from the older process where songs were shown in full and then adjusted in a back-and-forth in the studio.
Financial Solvency Is Gay (featuring Deb O'Keefe)
Q: What kinds of services or perks did the matchmaker provide beyond introductions?
The discussions suggest a premium, concierge-like service with gifts and personalized branding, as well as ongoing communication and a high-touch approach, though specific package details are kept partly opaque and joked about during the episode.
Financial Solvency Is Gay (featuring Deb O'Keefe)
Q: How much did the executive matchmaker cost, and how was the price structured?
Deb explains that the client paid around $50,000, and there are stories of much higher packages, indicating an all-inclusive or yearly retainer model rather than a simple, one-off fee.
