I don't know if they changed this, but one of the reasons I couldn't get into this show was that woman at the beginning saying "welcome to It's the Beer Talking." She sounds like she has a fake southern accent, or is trying to sound like she has a northern Vermont twang. Stop it. We don't all sound like that. It's irritating and offensive.
OK, so I love beer. There I said it. Also, other hobbies include sound production.
I think this podcast has very useful, concise info regarding multiple styles of beer. Their fully involved, yet illuminating reviews of coffee tinged beers, was masterful.
However, the sound levels are all over the map. The primary host is exemplary. He knows when to speak and when not to. He really has mastered the Podcast "Voice".
