I was lucky enough to witness the Twang phenomenon early on. I heard about these three kids playing the West Mall for free. And everyone was just so happy, dancing and singing along. The songs were catchy, memorable and the vibe was Austin at its best. Would see them over and over again at the Cactus Cafe, and eventually at Liberty Lunch. They played with Those Who Dig, the Grains of Faith, the Reivers, the Wannabes, The Killer Bees, Bouffant Jellyfish, Poi Dog Pondering..... etc. Twang Twang S... more
