It Did Happen Here is an independently produced podcast about anti-fascist struggles that took place in Portland, Oregon following the 1988 murder of Ethiopian immigrant Mulugeta Seraw by racist skinheads. This is the story of how disparate groups used a diversity of tactics to fight neo-nazi violence and right wing organizing in the Rose City in the 1980s and 90s.

amazing! essential listening for anyone concerned about antifascism and community self defense. vital knowledge for these fascist times. practically a handbook for radical community organizations.
The interviews are priceless. History speaks. The essence, the substance, the philosophical basis are all there.
Great to hear this fantastic series, featuring interviews, great writing and first-hand accounts of a scene and a city rising up to defeat fascism in the USA. If you’re not anti-fascist, you’re on the wrong side of history.
Makes me wish I was about 5 years older.
Just got introduced to this by my find who was on it. Also would like to hear all the older episodes. Are they available elsewhere? I will try the website.
