I love this
Not only does John provide access to interesting conversations with national musicians, Pittsburgh local artists are privileged to be supported and promoted by someone who truly has passion for the craft. A worthwhile subscription for all music lovers and makers alike! 'Nuff Said!
John consistently delivers great interviews from performers from all genres of music including some all time classic people. His great knowledge of music and music production really helps to flesh out the talks he has with people and you can tell it comes from a true music fan. If you want to go beyond the normal "press junket" interviews subscribe to this show.
I have been listening to Iron City Rocks since the beginning. It has transformed from a local music show to a show that showcases the best music that Pittsburgh has to offer as well national touring acts making a stop in Pittsburgh. John has a very conversation style and has interviewed some amazing musicians such as George Lynch, Nick Catanese, Tony Iommi, just to name a few. If you love Hard Rock and Metal, and just good old Rock n' Roll, this is the Podcast for you.
John and company do an excellent job at interviewing today's top hard rock/metal artists. Yes, there's a slant towards the Pittsburgh scene but don't let that stop you. The interviews are in-depth and informative.
