Was shocked to hear on a recent episode that she does not go to therapy! Medication alone is never enough regardless of your mental health condition. Medicine is more beneficial when you combine it with therapy as well. Medicine doesn’t help break patterns or gain necessary tools or even awareness of patterns, at least not in its own. The way she talks on this podcast makes so much more sense now that I know she’s not in therapy.
Loved connection with another mom who has ADHD. The reminder that systems are freeing and the permission to do things in whatever way works for you was so freeing!
I love the variety of topics Renee has to help women with ADHD feel like they can be their best selves.
Renee doesn’t just teach about ADHD - while that’s there - she also touches on breaking limiting beliefs, creating habits, emotional weight, etc ALL from an ADHD lense. It’s so good to not feel alone. Sometimes you sit and wonder “is this just me?” But she makes you feel normal and really gets it
I love listening to Renee’s calming voice as she talks about challenges and situations in a way that’s accessible and reassuring!
