I’m a newcomer of this podcast and absolutely love it!
Keep the great work 🤙🏼
I’ve really tried to get into this pod. Unfortunately, there’s just too little planning, focus, and structure to make it worth it. There are a few good episodes, but they don’t outnumber the difficult ones.
First - the speakers are hard-panned left/right - very annoying to listen to. It simply doesn’t create a natural environment, and for audio guys this seems like a very rookie mistake. Their audio levels are often unbalanced, and one host is often clipping as his levels are set too hot. Just... more
…though curious for recording experts this podcast could use some volume balancing between the two voices!!!
I’ve loved this pod for couple years, but can’t not give a low rating, just to be sure you see that myself feel ( and I believe I’v seen other reviews agreeing ) that the panning of the content, does not match the medium ( listening in cars, one headphone while at work, etc…. ). How can we trust the content if it’s not aware of how the content is listened to.

Just too bad that Jody is much loader (and fuller) than Chris and also the mics / recording spaces are so different, you can even the differences quite clear over an iphone speaker. I know they always say they use izotope in the mastering and mix pro... more
