Thank you to Drs. Carr, Nosik, and Sellers for getting out content and dissemination in this format. This is a great way to help stakeholders and certificants connect and gain additional clarification on the changes as well as the history of how these changes have occurred.
As ‘easy’ as it is to criticize the Board, it’s impossible to know what goes on over there. This podcast has shed light on the happenings. I am grateful that Drs. Jim Carr and Melissa Nosik have taken the time to disseminate the secrets Inside the BACB!
It’s hard to take the BACB seriously as a credentialing board when it doesn’t enforce ethical codes. When six months pass after a complaint is submitted, you can bet nothing has been done. The BCBA continues to practice because there’s no consequence. Is it because the ethical code is only for liability? Or is it because the board is afraid to enforce it.
