  • The medicine to cure the madness

There are so few news and media outlets that are not in the full apologetic and spin mode for one political side or the other that a measured and intellectually honest show such as Boyd’s is almost extinct or the last of it’s kind. Which is tragic because it is exactly what we need in our country right now! This show is exactly what it advertises itself to be and if we take what is preached here to heart it will go a long way to fixing the many and overwhelming problems we face as a nation.

  • Disappointed this is so one sided

This show does not follow in the fair minded foot steps of Doug Write. Very one sided in paternalistic tone that is so dismissive of any other point of view. Don’t listen to this one instead listen to Voices of Reason for a much more balanced take on issues

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Ballot mix-up results in thousands of incorrect primary election ballots being mailed out
Q: How are affected voters being notified and what should they do if they received the wrong ballot?
Officials plan to email affected voters and, where emails aren't available, include a notice with the new ballot. Voters who received the wrong ballot can vote the new one; the spoiled ballot will be disregarded and rejected by the system when returned.
Ballot mix-up results in thousands of incorrect primary election ballots being mailed out
Q: How does this kind of thing happen and what happens to correct the problem?
The issue was a vendor programming and data matching error during ballot production; the data provided was correct, but the machine or software mis-sequenced ballots by party. The clerk's team identified the affected voters, spoiled the incorrect ballots with the help of the Lieutenant Governor's office, and are issuing corrected ballots in a new batch, ensuring the right ballots are sent to the right voters.
Deep-dive on Utah's HOA resources
Q: Are there state laws that regulate HOAs and provide direction beyond bylaws?
Yes, Utah has two main statutes: the Condominium Ownership Act for condos and the Community Association Act for most other HOA structures, which govern how HOAs operate.
Inside Sources Full Show June 5th, 2026: Process over the creation of the data center in Box Elder County continues to stoke criticism
Q: What are the biggest gaps in information about the Box Elder County data center and how should the public engage with this process?
The guest explains that the legislature does not control local data-center siting, emphasizes the need for transparent data and independent studies, and urges citizens to engage with their local officials and the governor to press for clear, accurate information.
Concerns raised over lack of judicial experience for new appointees to Utah Supreme Court
Q: When you look at a candidate, what are you looking for?
I look for intellect, high ethical standards, the ability to understand and analyze complex legal issues, and practical experience in appellate work or similar preparation that mirrors the responsibilities of the Supreme Court.
