I like your podcast. But just so you know, “exeunt” is plural. You need to”exit”.

  • Joel is my friend in Israel that keeps me well informed.

I love Joel Chasnoff’s honest, straight forward discussions on the state of Israel and Jewish life in the diaspora with no agenda. I laugh and I cry all the while, becoming the more well informed person in the room and completely trust and often quote him on important and not so important matters in Israel, (like the state of tennis)! Keep on keeping on Joel and come back to So Jersey and visit us again soon.

On My Mind As We Head into 2026
Q: What are Israelis saying about what happened in Venezuela?
Many Israelis have a positive view of the US actions in Venezuela, seeing it as a demonstration of power that creates fear among Iran and bolsters Israeli security.
Why Joel Backed Out of a Real Estate Deal
Q: Is there real talk about a war with Iran?
Yes, it's expected, and many Israelis believe that a conflict with Iran is inevitable.
Why Joel Backed Out of a Real Estate Deal
Q: Why is there not pressure in Israel to get good grades for college?
The army comes first, and grades aren't as critical for college admission compared to the U.S.
AJA: Ask Joel Anything, Part II
Q: Why would any military leaders not listen or take action after some of their female soldiers warned them?
It comes down to the military culture and a chauvinist attitude in the IDF, leading to dismissive behavior towards female soldiers' concerns.
AJA: Ask Joel Anything, Part II
Q: Why was the Nova Festival exposed and vulnerable and not guarded?
It reflects typical Israeli ineptness, cutting corners and a misconception by Israeli intelligence about Hamas's intentions.
