I’m agreeing with several other listeners that the censorship makes the podcast unlistenable. I’m 7 minutes into the latest episode and can’t continue because it feels like brain zaps with all the missing words. If you want to censor it, please release 2 versions and have a disclaimer at the top of the uncensored one (like you already do).
This podcast was really good until it became unlistenable. There are so many censored words in the latest episode that it's hard to even follow what's being said. I thought something was up with the stream at first with the constant breaks in the audio. I understand words can be triggering, but that's why you put a disclaimer at the beginning to warn listeners. If this podcast is so worried about certain words then release two versions. Please go back to the original format and just say the actu... more
I thought this podcast was interesting at first, but then for some reason they started blocking out silly unnecessary words like “suicide“, “pornography”, etc. If they’re that worried about people being offended or triggered by words like “shooting” then don’t do a podcast about one of the most horrible groups on the net.
A truly terrifying podcast, made all the more scary for the fact that it’s real. Only one issue: the latest episode (8 I think) seems to have certain words ‘bleeped’, but there are enough of them that it makes for an extremely interrupted episode. Rather annoying. If you need to have an ep. suitable for children, perhaps host it on the website, and not on the actual pod? Other than that, very compelling doc.
Love how they present the information without sensationalism. It feels like true crime (in podcasts or YouTube) are increasingly full of hype or framing things in the most sensational way to get a reaction out of the audience. This one doesn’t do that which is so refreshing. It reminds me of Serial season 1. Easily 5*.
