Glenn has helped me through so much since 2015 when I left the Mormon church. I too have had a similar transition after leaving: Angry, agnostic, atheist, and now spiritual with a deep sense of curiosity and openness. I question everything and have opened up a whole world of “woo-woo” that now science is coming around to on its own. Thank you Glenn.
The show has evolved, which is fine, but it’s not really IoT anymore at this point or at any point in the last couple years. More like Glenn’s musing on the metaphysical and a vehicle for his life coaching, which is kind of funny considering some of their past criticism of John Dehlin. I used to be a Patreon, but back then Patreon episodes seemed to be largely Glenn mailing it in deconstructing this socially awkward guy who posted church lessons on Facebook.
I used to really like listening to Infants. They were a huge part of my faith journey. While I agree with a number of reviewers that say that there’s a lot of ego there and too many white men, they were funny and their perspectives frequently brought a lot to the table.
The episodes with John Hammer are the best.
