Just started listening and it’s already a favourite. I agree 🤭
Alison and Fern ! The ultimate combo 🔥🔥🔥
I really enjoy this podcast for it’s different perspectives it gives me, especially around neurodivergence.
Very different to the usual “comedians doing the rounds” slop, out there.
I’ve tried making do with some of the others, CMB & Roscoe gave me you after the fall of The Guillotine (really miss that too), but other pods just don’t give me the same vibes as Fern & Alison, mad as a box of frogs with the odd spark of erudite knowledge to open your eyes and make you giggle at something that is sooo wrong! Two Irish-Scottish comedians trade freeform banter on life, fame, gender, and culture in a no-rules chat about emotions, therapy, media, and everyday obsessions. Episodes mix candid personal stories with sharp takes on contemporary topics, often shifting from pop culture to politics, with a warm, unfiltered humor that invites listeners to feel seen and entertained. Notable strengths include a no-theme format that lets conversations wander and evolve, and the chemistry between two long-running collaborators who bring honesty, wit, and vulnerability to sensitive subjects like health, body image, and internet culture.
