This is is a lovely easy listening podcast. Helen is really funny and the concept works really well.
Loved the crimea ep- bit like Sindhu Vees Hogs ep, more comedians explaining things please!
When Trusty Hogs stopped, I was bereft. What would I do without my two favourites every week? But then, the almighty Bauer came to the rescue and Boy, has she! Love the new crew, with cameos from the former. Honestly, more history podcasts should be like the eps with Pierre! Overall, thank you and for anyone who is looking for a little joy in the world weekly, you’ve found it.
Can I articulate why I love this show... no. Could I explain what it was about to my husband... also no. Does he randomly enter the room wondering why I'm laughing about another persons gall bladder ... 100%. But I do love it, and I won't be forced to explain.
