Fun to listen to for genre fans overall, and really shines in the background and history elements.
And some just plain classics.
I discovered this show recently, while I am doing my own private Shocktober Film Fest, and got back to one of my favorites, the 1988 THE BLOB. I did a search for podcasts which had covered it, and stumbled onto this one.

A meticulously researched and always fascinating look at movies that don’t get a ton of attention. Chris finds some very weird and interesting movies, and he does a great job of bringing them to life for his audience and encouraging one of my priorities, physical media. Always worth a listen!
This show is so entertaining because of how well presented and researched the episodes are. Even if I have not seen the film subjects of these episodes, Chris produces the show in such a thoughtful way that it makes these episodes accessible.
I’m not typically a movie-watcher, but he does such a good job at explaining not only the movie but what was going on at the time behind the scenes & why certain things were done, that he makes me want to try to get some classics in my lineup!
