    I’ve listened to this since the start and it’s a long, lingering love letter to John McMahon and the PTC/MEDDICC diaspora and a highly enjoyable hour. Now they are focusing on the channel, seriously lacking decent podcasts, which is a welcome change. Recommended.

The process blended serendipity with preparation: a partner (my wife) who reviewed decks and helped rehearse pitches, coupled with surrounding myself with experienced mentors and VCs who could guide strategy and guardrails for scaling. It was about turning a bold idea into a plausible plan and demonstrating a scalable path to a large, mission-aligned business.

The biggest learning was recognizing the importance of moving on from leaders quickly when they aren't the right fit, because bad leadership at scale can quickly erode culture and performance. That discipline, while hard, is critical to maintaining a healthy organization.
