  • Almost great

Love listening to the life and experiences of DJs. Chris as the host is spot on. Show is only marred by the infomercial that takes up too much of the conversation.

  • Listening Dog(‘s Dinner) Media of a podcast.

What a weird podcast. The guest generally are good. Some of their answers are interesting. However it’s ridiculously corporate. The product placement ad from Flare audio is the most cringe thing you will ever hear. Clearly noone cares about the “ear trumpets” they are flogging. Embarrassing. Can’t believe I’ve just found this, what a podcast! Had to leave a review after listening to my first show -

Fabio & Grooverider. There hasn’t been any podcast since ‘Gilles Petersons Worldwide Podcast’ that really hits the mark. Well done Chris Hawkins!!

  • Fantastic

An absolute pleasure listening to the Utah Saints pod. The Utah’s are obviously top fellas with countless tales of their antics over the years… and the Hawk doing his usual great stuff in bringing it all together. Great stuff.

Charlie Chaplin's The Great Dictator speech, a powerful call to humanity and courage that resonates as a final message against dehumanization.
Tommy Smith
Q: Is there a gig or club night you wish you'd been at?
Not really, because the peak was in what they built and shared together; the experience they created was itself the defining moment worth remembering.
Tommy Smith
Q: If you could be eternally stuck in one year's music scene, which year would it be and why?

Tommy Smith
Q: What was the weirdest thing you've seen on a dance floor?
People hugging, kissing, and crying with tears of joy while others laughed and danced, showing a profound human connection that transcended the chaos and violence of the time.
Tommy Smith
Q: Which act epitomises the rave era for you?
The Love Decade, Dream Frequency, and KLF stand out as epitomes; each connected with the era through community, spectacle, and provocation, while still representing the unifying, hopeful energy that defined the period.
