I really feel Dr Eilers gets it. Anxiety and depression that is. Much of what he talks about resonates with my lifelong experience. His podcast is also entertaining which holds my interest. Just enough self deprecation to be cute but not excessive. I just wish he didn’t need to promote products even if those products are of high quality.
I love the content! But it is quite disingenuous to suddenly be marketing something by sneaking it into the content. No, it is not a relevant product we just need to purchase, it is deceptive marketing. And the actual commercials that are not in your voice are SO LOUD and abrupt. Startles my pets. Such wisdom hidden among the sneaky ads and the abrupt ads.
Scott gives voice to both the struggles and painful experience of a depressive, but balances this with the very helpful vantage of a trained therapist. This podcast is highly varied but always intelligent and well-considered.
