  • Best in Houston

Houston’s BEST sports talk show hands down. Coverage varies from upcoming developments during the offseason for the Texans to deep background on historic moments in Houston’s rich sports heritage.

The focus of every episode is different reflecting the changing seasons. If you’re new to the series, definitely go back as far as you can for some very special interviews and reflections on events in your favorite sport.

  • The worst!!!

I’ve tried and tried to buy in to this podcast. As a diehard Houston fan, I am embarrassed by your takes. You guys spend more time trying to clarify the others takes. It takes up half the show. I hate to say it. But I am very envious of Dallas sports radio/podcasts. Do better!

Will Raiders Upset Hot Texans? (Raiders Insider Dennis Ackerman Previews Matchup)
Q: Is there anybody that you got your eye on for the draft?
They need a quarterback and the draft class is not particularly sexy; it remains to be seen whether any quarterback will be the answer.
Will Raiders Upset Hot Texans? (Raiders Insider Dennis Ackerman Previews Matchup)
Q: What about the people picking players and all of the talent there?
It starts with Mark Davis, who has whiffed on his GM and coaches, and they went bargain basement with free agents who have not panned out.
Will Raiders Upset Hot Texans? (Raiders Insider Dennis Ackerman Previews Matchup)
Q: How much of this or percentage wise is Pete Carroll and how much is just the lack of talent?
It's a combination of both; Pete overestimated the talent on the roster, and they are very top-heavy with only a few players worth keeping.
Which Astros Team Blew World Series Hopes? | Author Samuel Barrett on Drama & Tragedy of '71!
Q: Can you narrow it down a little bit to why you think it just never happened for that team, despite the chemistry that they had with each other?
The big reason for the team's failure was Speck Richardson's poor management decisions, which cost the Astros a potential pennant in the early 1970s.
Which Astros Team Blew World Series Hopes? | Author Samuel Barrett on Drama & Tragedy of '71!
Q: Samuel, what kind of manager was Harry Walker?
Harry Walker was a close-minded manager who insisted on his batting style, and this led to rifts within the clubhouse despite the team's good chemistry.
