Not the episode I wanted, but the one I needed. The show is still good, but we do need more Spanish Succession in our lives. more
This is now the 3rd time I've listened to this podcast. This is the only podcast Ive listened to more than once.
It's well researhd and informative. I love the music that he ties to the content of the particular topic he's talking about. But, he seemed to leave the story without a conclusion. I wish he would continue this one on Marlborough, and followup with podcasts on other topics.
I've enjoyed the podcast but am dismayed at the abrupt end of postings. Come back please!
Personally, I found this podcast very unfocussed and not particularly interesting. The war lasted from 1701 - 1714 and yet the final episode covers the battle of Oudenarde in mid July 1708. Did nothing really happen thereafter? I'm not so sure. more
