The extreme in-depth look into the different historical topics is fascinating. Many of the topics were foreign to me, but after listening to each episode you end up with a great understanding of the events that took place. It is amazing to see the roles that these historical events had in other events that took place afterwards and eventually in shaping the world we live in today.
Guaranteed to cure insomnia!
I usually do not enjoy duo history podcasts. They usually come across as very scripted and sound off. This one doesn’t do that. The chemistry between the two hosts is as good as the history they cover. Which is great! I really like the deep dives they go into with their subjects, the pace is great and I learn about individuals who may get less attention in broader history podcasts.
The presenters do an excellent job making easy listening of complicated events.
I really wish they would have another war that was History’s Most... In all honesty they are turning into a podcast on the Spanish Civil War. Despite that, it’s a pretty good podcast.
