Please go get some new material as I’m certain there’s more than enough crime being committed that we could do without all the repeat episodes
I binged the entire catalogue. My only gripe is the limited amount of episodes. For the past year they’ve been reshuffling repeats and dropping them as “new”. Since the podcast is just a transfer of the tv series, which ended, it’s unlikely we’ll be getting any new stories.
Edit 5/8/2026: still getting re-edited repeats presented as new episodes. Why not put a small budget together and do a new season?
This podcast has so much potential but the producers are ruining it. They finally went back to telling only one story at a time but now they’re repeating old stories. Very annoying and frustrating. If you’re going to tell an old story, then indicate that it’s an old story instead of wasting the long time listeners time. This whole “ I Survived a Serial Killer” series is TRASH.
Are you repeating episodes that I’ve already been played, and trying to pass them off as new? Or are you taking these from amother podcast? This new run of serial
Killer stories aren’t fresh.
This podcast has many firsthand survival stories that are incredible and sparks your survival instincts. Unfortunately, the stories are constantly interrupted by ridiculously long ads, that take you out of the listener experience. Please be aware that if you’re hearing sensitive, this entire podcast is at a lower volume level than majority of other podcasts, some ads will be a lot louder than the stories themselves, and if you start a different podcast the volume will also be much higher than ... more

The show centers on survivors sharing intimate, high-stakes survival stories, often weaving in investigative context, legal outcomes, and forensic perspectives to illuminate what it takes to endure extreme violence. Episodes frequently mix personal testimonies with expert commentary, creating a multi-dimensional view of crime, trauma, resilience, and justice. A standout pattern is the emphasis on one full survivor narrative per episode, sometimes complemented by forensic or law-enforcement angles, which helps listeners understand both the human impact and the broader investigative arc. Notable is the consistent focus on real-time persistence, community impact, and the long road to healing that follows harrowing experiences, with occasional ... more
