Go back to the old format. The serial killer format isn’t good. It seems like you spliced in a bunch of audio from documentaries. The one on one format with 3 unexpected personal stories was much more immersive.
It was good when it was I survived and it was different peoples life stories but now it’s I survived a serial killer. Which I didn’t sign up for.
A lot of repeats. Also why am I paying for the subscriber edition if I still have to listen to ad reads?? That’s the whole reason I paid for a membership.

The show centers on survivors sharing intimate, high-stakes survival stories, often weaving in investigative context, legal outcomes, and forensic perspectives to illuminate what it takes to endure extreme violence. Episodes frequently mix personal testimonies with expert commentary, creating a multi-dimensional view of crime, trauma, resilience, and justice. A standout pattern is the emphasis on one full survivor narrative per episode, sometimes complemented by forensic or law-enforcement angles, which helps listeners understand both the human impact and the broader investigative arc. Notable is the consistent focus on real-time persistence, community impact, and the long road to healing that follows harrowing experiences, with occasional ... more
