It’s a good podcast, but I’ve caught several stories being repeated year to year which is a little frustrating as a listener. New episodes should always contain new stories in my opinion.
Every episode leads with a graphic tale of sexual assault. Needs some with thematic variety and less Christian nonsense.
I love this podcast!! All of the survivors share such powerful stories, and my heart really goes out to each and every one of these people who survive awful, unimaginable things. It’s absolutely insane what the human body can survive. It really puts everything in perspective, and reminds people who are struggling with trauma that they’re not alone. I recommended this podcast to someone I knew who went through a scarring experience and it really helped her start her healing process.
Not only is this podcast incredibly narrated; giving just the right amount of detail and background info to set the scene of the stories told, but I love the host and her method for delivering these stories and keeping you locked in and interested :) have been a listener for years & will continue to be for a lifetime!
I love that they brought their stories here.
