  • Jarringly Happy Ads

Love the show and immersion into harrowing stories of survival but there's something so jarring and off tone when the host comes in with an ad using her happy voice mentioning their new baby or upcoming family get together. This style totally rips one out of the experience as a whole. We know ads are a thing but think of the content. Something less upbeat and peppy would keep with the flow.

  • Incredible Stories but…

These stories are amazing and inspiring, however it’s annoying that the podcast creators don’t indicate when they’re republishing an old story. There are some stories that have been published 3 times as if it’s a new one. I don’t mind when podcasts re-air old stories, but you should indicate that in the description.

  • Repeats are Frustrating

Frustrated with all these repeats. Don’t most new listeners go back to each season if the really like it? So why do the current have to listen to the same stories again? It’s annoying and frustrating to see a new episode up but it’s not actually new.

  • Clumsy story strings

When a single story is told in one ep, it is always well constructed and clear. But when two or more stories are told in a piece meal string of segments in one episode, it is a mess; a dog's breakfast.

Just tell each short story in it's entirety with it's own beginning, middle and end with an ad break before moving on to the next short story.

  • Repeats

I like the podcast. There are a lot of repeat episodes, and I never know that they are repeats until I start listening. It would be great if they could be marked as such so that I don’t waste my time.
