None of the new episodes will play.
Thankyou for your great guests and interesting way they weave together history and what you see now in cities, including structures and the people with a few questions about things to look for when visiting at the end, great work!
This exceptional BBC series should perhaps be titled “Great European Cities” since all eight episodes- so far- have been European cities. Overlooking both the more familiar Amsterdam and London, the producer includes Oslo and Budapest. The consistent format sounds dry - invite a prominent city historian to summarize a city’s history and offer a few tips for modern travelers- yet becomes rather entertaining and quite informative. more
