Lindsey does a great job of breaking down the shame connected to impossible standards. You will find freedom from perfection if you tune in. There is hope!
I love the way Lindsey explains the importance of 'wintering' - it all makes so much sense! Our bodies indeed need periods of rest, recovery and also to prepare for a new season. And that's totally ok. I agree that 'wintering' should not be done guiltily or feel like a lazy option. Episode 257 is definitely worth a listen! ~ Anna
I love using your word as an anchor-no perfection needed! 💕

Wow! I am so glad I found your podcast!! I’m 54, had a full blown ED (anorexiz w a couple of dips into billions) 18-20 and then an almost relapse (behaviors came back up yet my awareness was on so I could hep myself faster), and now recently was wondering if I was having another relapse. I was ready to go into black/white thinking of this must be ED again but learning ... more
I really appreciate Lindsey's authenticity and sharing of her experiences. Each episode provides me with things to think about and/or a golden nugget. It has continued to provide me hope and guidance through my recovery. I think EDs are extremely misunderstood in our society... but when I listen to this podcast I feel safe and at home (and know that I am not alone). BIG THANK YOU Lindsey!
