  • Exceptional

I was scrolling through LinkedIn videos and was pleasantly surprised when Jessi popped up. She was selling anything and wasn’t promoting herself - she was honestly trying to convey information to make others prosper. Once I figured out she held a podcast I stopped what I was doing and found myself listening to the most meaningful podcast of my life - the replay of the 2020 Burnout episode. Wow, just wow!

Lessons From a Year of Letting AI Do Everything
Q: Where do you see AI helping you in starting a business and building a team?
AI accelerates setup tasks, supports website and form creation, automates promotions, and handles multi-step processes, enabling focus on strategy and hiring skilled humans for core work.
Lessons From a Year of Letting AI Do Everything
Q: How do you actually use AI in managing your communications?
Use AI to streamline templates, rewrite for clarity and directness, and handle routine responses while keeping human review for important messages.
Lessons From a Year of Letting AI Do Everything
Q: What's your best advice?
Triage what you share with AI, strip out personal data, and deliberately adjust settings to prevent memory and training, then use AI for communication templates and more direct wording rather than fully automating sensitive interactions.
We're Lonelier Than Ever. Ritual Is the Answer.
Q: Why is now the right moment to talk about ritual?
Rituals address a deep human need for belonging and meaning, especially as people experience disruption and loneliness; they are a practical, bottom-up solution that communities naturally create when given space and intention.
Feeling Empty? Arthur Brooks Has a Formula for a Meaningful Life
Q: Sacha asks how to discern true calling versus chasing comfort in compensation.
Judge opportunities by gut-based signals—excitement, fear, and deadness—with a preference for high excitement, some fear, and zero deadness; monitor how these feelings evolve over time to decide when to move on or stay.
