  • Just as crazy!

Just now listening to season 5 but claiming that “abolition of the police” is reasonable is definitely a mindset that is just as crazy as those of the people you cover!

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

S10E4: Jesus Sauce
Q: How did Ron interact within the ministry when you were there?
Ron appeared warm and friendly but largely peripheral to the ministry's direction; his private demeanor contrasted with Patricia's public intensity, and there were moments where he was silenced in group settings, signaling a problematic power dynamic.
S10E4: Jesus Sauce
Q: What was your first impression of Patricia King as a minister and a person?
Michael describes her as extremely confident and charismatic, with a powerful presence, capable of making people feel seen and important, which drew him in but also masked deeper issues he later reflected on.
Divorcing Religion
Q: Can you unpack that for me?
Janice shares that her husband was introduced to her by their pastor, and she recalls the pressure to find a partner in the church community.
S8E3: A Good Man
Q: Is there anything, like, I know you're not a doctor, you can't diagnose them. Has he ever been diagnosed with any mental health illnesses?
Yeah, he was diagnosed with narcissistic personality disorder and manic bipolar.
S8E3: A Good Man
Q: What's your faith status today?
I would call myself an agnostic right now, it's hard because I grew up with my faith and my Christianity being a huge part of my identity.
