It’s easy to tell that Tara Jean is a long-time professional broadcaster. She digs for facts, aims to be unbiased, and has quality scripts and interviews. She thoughtfully handles a lot of very sensitive material. I’m an atheist and I still find great value in Heaven Bent to broaden my horizons and knowledge of the world. My one and only complaint is TJ’s recent (2025) use of AI. It is so detrimental to the environment, and her work is otherwise of such high quality, I can’t see a need to use it... more
The host spends part of the podcast speaking directly to an AI bot asking it to give insight on Christian culture—I find this lazy and uninteresting, especially when there are actual humans this “journalist” could speak with about current events
