The Heart of the Matter

Annalisa Bahadur

Come with me into a bedroom in New Delhi, India. A young woman sits on the edge of a bed with ridges of tears dried onto her young face. She feels defeated - helpless, unworthy, and lonely. It's a familiar feeling. Touching rock bottom has been a constant phenomenon nearly most of her life. But this time, while the pain is nothing new - it’s felt more deeply. more

  • Extremely informative and applicable

Even though I am a mental health therapist myself I’m also a human being that needs to be reminded from time to time how the people I love and myself react differently to emotions and Ana and her podcast are doing it in a very gentle way with education and solution (which is more than important for anxious attached people like me). Forever thankful I found you!

  • New perspective

I started to learn about attachment styles just recently because of painful and confusing relationship I had. Learning about my and my partner’s attachment styles made so much sense! Questions about why and how were answered, and a clearer picture of the connection and possible ways to react to issues became obvious. more
