  • If you care about Public Education, they tie threads together

Berkshire is by far one of my favorite education reporters. She contextualizes the trends we see. She shows the history, and the power players manipulating parents and policy. I appreciate these discussions remarkable breadth of knowledge. Every episode is well-researched. Some light hearted banter, but some real hard reporting.

If you care about Public education as a common good. Give it a listen.

Update! Joined the patreon. “In the weeds” segment WORTH it.

  • Hard pass

Listened in on an episode and it was a surprisingly biased view. You’d think academics would invite opposing views but I guess that would hinder their predetermined views.

  • Wide-ranging yet Specific!

I’m always surprised by the wide range of issues and topics covered each week, yet the thoroughness of their research and understanding. They don’t simply regurgitate headlines or points you’d see elsewhere, they bring unique insights which I’m not otherwise exposed to. I’m not always a fan of the banter between Jack and Jennifer, but this podcast is so educational I keep listening!
