Beautiful piece that really captures the anxieties and pressures of modern times. Well done to all involved in writing, acting and composing the music!
Thought provoking, at times a challenging listen but inspiring and left me with a feeling of hope for the future! Definitely worth listening to.
Woah, what a powerful experience. I might not be able to relate to the “sharing one body” elements, but I was still super moved as a father concerned about the future of my children, or children full stop.
In the context of the war in Ukraine and a global energy crisis, I found the play in episode 2 resonated with me on even more levels, which was genius on the part of the writer! The way the voices from different eras mixed with the ambient music kept me hooked, even while my own child was ru... more
Moving and beautiful, this evoked emotion from several layers within me. Powerful, relevant and thought provoking - loved it ❤️
This piece was beautifully written….a delicate Ingenious way of bringing real fears on motherhood into a public domain… It makes me realise how little creative work deals so honestly with climate change from a woman’s, indeed a mother’s perspective…. The big themes explored manage to stay grounded in the personal and human and if this piece doesn’t fill you with emotion (the heart flutter of fear that all parents should identify with, to the more steely resolve of hope we have within us) ... more
Love love loved A Mother’s Voice. An important piece that could not be more relevant in these testing times. Powerful, thought provoking and a great way to help open up conversations about climate change and parenthood.
Really enjoyed this. Did the guided practice alone but look forward to doing in a group when I can
Loved it!
