The boys passionately follow a clue about a "Tre-men
-dous" spider.
David and Shaun try to remember what this book was about.
The boys alternate between treasure hunting and looking for their kidnapped friends.
The boys have a strategy. Then someone throws a hand grenade at them.
This is either a great, bad chapter, or an awful, wonderful chapter. We couldn't decide.
This is an actual chapter from this really, really weird book. It's a mystery told to the boys.... about pilgrims.
I would prefer to have only one person talking and no questions .

Willfully ignorant thank you! And I’m turnoff of your podcast.
Shaun and David have wasted untold hours of their lives doing the lord's work, exposing the Hardy Boys - and their dullard of a father - for the incompetent detectives that they are.
Pitt and Hautly offer both unbridled wit and unabashed critique as they tackle the tremendous life’s work Franklin W. Dixon. Discovering just how dated and ludicrous the text finds itself through the eyes of a modern adult, they keep the laughs coming and remind us of what was the norm for the young boomer generation, as well as the absurd, plot driven writing required to keep the attention of many young readers. Rated 8/8 🧯’s, too en fuego.
With all the episode-by-episode podcasts about our favorite television shows, it's refreshing to see such a literary masterpiece finally get the detailed attention it deserves. Thoughtful reflection on a golden moment in our history is never unwelcomed.
Good night!! Put on your driving caps because Shaun and David are going to take you for a wildly thrilling ride inside the classic series: The Hardy Boys. I know what you’re thinking, this review is bias, as I am the cohost of this very podcast! Well then don’t take my opinion, dive into the series and see for yourself.
Genuinely one of the most delightfully compatible duos in any Hardy Boys podcast yet.
