I can listen to this and connect to everything said, but still be calmed and relaxed, while still not zoning out.
I have pared back my podcasts, am very selective about what noise I allow into my ears. Happy Enough came at the exact right moment for me, as the world is in the midst of the infliction of intentional pain and suffering. Thank you Garvia and G&M team
This was in my Decibel feed and it felt like what I needed, without even knowing it. The news these days (March 2025) is often bleak it is good to sometimes think of something else. Not in a Pollyannish way, but to maintain balance. I genuinely like all the people who are featured and I can take something I have learned, or need reminding of, and incorporate it into my daily life. This couldn’t have dropped at a better time.
Just what I (we) need at this time of our lives and of the world. I’m very grateful to The Globe and Mail, thank you.
Garvia is so good at making big topics relatable and does a great job bringing out the best in her guests. The show is super thought provoking and helps remind us we aren’t alone in wanting to be happy but maybe feel like we don’t know how. This show makes me happy!
