If I had this podcast while I was in school, I would have become a historian instead of a Computer scientist. The way Riley tells these historical stories, it’s captivating, entertaining and dare I say inspiring for anyone remotely interested in history. Not a single wasted second in any episode. I came across it a couple of years ago and was immediately hooked. I recently started listening to it from episode 1 onwards. I hope this podcast never ends.
I enjoy listening because Riley finds a way to explain history funny and educational.
This is an awesome podcast, in a world swamped with American and European content it is so refreshing to find an authentic, relaxed Australian perspective. The episodes are entertaining and accessible and its a delight to listen someone who I don’t need to speed up to find bearable. Keep making episodes please they keep me going through some absolutely depressing Architecture classes!
Do your research, 90 million people didn’t vote for Trump for 1950s. Get out of your white liberal elite bubble. You’re exactly the reason Trump is president.
I love this podcast. People seem to think that his accent is faked but if anything it’s mostly toned down. He has a bit of a liberal agenda but then again just about every historian has an agenda so I can’t say I blame him. Overall, the podcast is great. He does speak a bit fast at times but just turn the speed down and you’ll be right.
