Gutting the Sacred Cow invites guests to argue why some of the most financially successful, beloved or acclaimed films are trash or overrated. But here's the twist, the film must meet 1 of these criteria: widely beloved, financial success, or critically acclaimed. Standup comedians Kevin Gootee and Kevin Israel love films and they love arguing about them.. But will they agree with their guests arg... more

I’ve heard ads and mentions of this podcast on several other of my favorite shows but what a disappointment. The host are amateurish and lackluster. Occasionally the guest can save the day as in the Highlander episode but left to their own devices as in the princesses bride episode this show is awful and I wasn’t even able to finish an episode about one of my favorite movies because the host was so bad. Just no natural sense of what’s funny or appealing. Would love to follow this great premise h... more
I got into this because of who would win. I honestly like this is better than who would win!😃😀😄😁😆🙃🙂🥹😅😋😛🤪😜😝🫠
This show is always good for a laugh. I love all the ‘that doesn’t happen’ moments that get pointed out!
I have followed a few of Kevin G’s projects in the past and I have never been let down.......GTSC is not just a funny look at these sacred movies. What I like most is the cerebral approach to being funny……this is some of your best work Kevin 👍🏻👍🏻
Sometimes you have to look the movies you love up close to see their blemishes. Oddly enough when you hear a classic movie diminished it actually makes you defend it in your mind and love it more. It is a funny show and fun listen for movie fans. I was worried it would be too negative, but it is funny, fun and you can tell these guys still love movies
