Hey folks! Thanks for your patience waiting for new interviews. For now, here's a mini-episode ("Interlude") with some podcast updates and some rad poetry from Felicia Williams and music from Polish and No Vacations.
Great interviews with indie musicians/artists/bands, love the focus on women and non-binary folks
And such thoughtful conversation
Londoner here. Punk fan, too. Especially the sort of punk made by women who are sick of the men having it all. Highly recommend this podcast for all fans of womxn-led bands, grrrls who play, and those who want to. Inspiring, please keep it up! I’m hooked!
Thanks for sharing your brilliance with all of us, June. 💖
I enjoy this show a lot. I learn a lot about interesting new bands and June is an excellent interviewer/host!
Fantastic, well-researched, and engaging. June asks relevant questions, identifies important issues, and conducts interviews with both levity and knowledge. This is an essential podcast.
June is an excellent host and does a great job choosing interesting guests. Love this show!
Great interviews and awesome music. Grrls Rock!!!
A really entertaining and engaging discussion every time I listen. Lots of cool music, lots of interesting talk, a real treat
June brings the listener into a world of strong voices, unique perspectives, and progressive music through her podcast. Music plays an important role in my life and learning about others' personal and musical journeys helps me gain insight and connect to the heart and soul of the musician. I always look forward to listening to Grrl on Grrl.
I've found a lot of bands I otherwise wouldn't have heard from this podcast. Hearing what different women put into their music and their process behind it is really great. I definitely suggest this to anyone looking to discover some new music or female driven music.
June's a natural!
