  • The best film podcast

Greg’s film knowledge is comprehensive, his enthusiasm unbridled, his humour unrivalled. For a good example, try the Mississippi Masala episode, 30 minutes of straight-up comedy invention, political invective, and social commentary. One of our most necessary voices on movies, politics and love. Try this, you won’t regret it.

  • Well, it used to be about movies…

Sadly, and much like his other podcast, the boring and preachy (and racist) part has become the whole show.

  • Whew

This is the worst film club ever. Haha… I love Greg Proops, but come on really seriously. He never talks about the film they’re showing, he rants the entire time about politics and treats the movie like it’s a total afterthought. The crowd on the night has to be just totally baffled, and that’s exactly what it sounds like. This really, really isn’t fun anymore.

  • Yay!! :)

I’ve never been happier to eat my words than I am right now. The new episode (The Innocents) is very funny. I laughed out loud multiple times. And the live shows on the Smartest Man podcast, have been very funny again too. Thanks for proving me wrong Greg. Nice job! :)

  • Ouch!

This has just become so sad and unbearable.. and I’m someone who doesnt disagree politically. Compare Episode One (Point Break) with the newest one. Sorry, it’s just over, and it has been for a really long time. Greg, PLEASE turn this around and prove me wrong. We miss you being amazing at this. Your voice and perspective is of no use to anyone if listening to you becomes so painful that people go away.
