I listen to a lot of planning, urban design, and placemaking podcasts. While those are great, it’s sometimes discouraging because I can’t imagine a lot of municipalities having the resources and/or desire to implement the ideas there. GGD is a great counterpart!!! This is for governments looking to make the transition from the old school ways to being all digital and modern. Hearing how Gilbert makes the most out of what they have as a government entity makes you realize that their experiences and approach aren't all that different from any organization - nonprofit or otherwise. Digital communication is a no-brainer in today's marketplace and although it feels like a daunting task to do it all, there are easy and FREE baby steps anyone can take to get moving in the right direction.
