  • Mr Global and Chad Scott? Winning!

I love the interactions and knowledge Chad Scott and Mr. Global bring to the table. Nat Towsen seems to get out over his skis quite a bit, particularly when it comes to Israel and what I can only describe as veiled antisemitism, but his wit adds to all other topics. Overall I enjoy listening.

  • Great information but….

At first, I really liked this podcast but the more I listen to it the more irritating the comedian/host becomes. He constantly interrupts the other two experts with his banter, which he thinks is funny, but it just gets in the way of what really needs to be said. Fake quiet him down the podcast would be great.

  • Can’t get enough!

Such a great podcast but we need more episodes a week and Nat need to stop interrupting and going on and on. He is a good host otherwise.

  • Had potential but comedian detracts

This podcast has some severe potential. Unfortunately, the third member of the podcast the “every man” who asks the questions of the experts is problematic. He drips his personal agenda, so heavily as to detract from the discussion. Super bummed as I follow Mr. Global on Facebook and I would like this podcast to work out. Perhaps I’ll come back to it when they get a new third number.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Rep. Adam Smith on the War Congress Didn’t Approve
Q: What do you hope President Trump and Xi Jinping discuss at the upcoming summit, and what outcomes do you expect?
He voiced optimism for detente with China and a more cooperative relationship, but warned about backroom deals and the potential for misaligned incentives if policy is driven by personal or short-term gains.
Rep. Adam Smith on the War Congress Didn’t Approve
Q: Why did you vote against a 2023 sanctions bill limiting presidential authority on sanctions, and how does that relate to current policy challenges?
He framed sanctions as a distinct tool from direct war powers, arguing that sanctions require continued executive branch flexibility and that the maximum pressure approach was already having effects prior to escalations in Iran.
Rep. Adam Smith on the War Congress Didn’t Approve
Q: Congressional action beyond authorization and funding—what practical steps can Congress take now to influence U.S. military engagement in Iran or elsewhere?
He suggested disapproving war to force a pause, using funding controls, and leveraging public opinion to pressure the president, while acknowledging the complexities and limited immediate leverage in a divided Congress.
