  • Brilliant podcast

I have been listening to Gone Running for quite some time now - I was so pleased to discover it. The variety of the episodes are great and always insightful. The interview style and production quality is also excellent and significantly better than a lot of the running related podcasts. Enjoyed the recent collab with Run Through Trails - even signed up for Morzine-Avoriaz! Keep up the great work and thank you for a brilliant podcast!

Talking Points

#141 - Zachariah Noble: From Pro Basketball to Love Island & Finding Change Through Running
Q: What would be your sort of main advice to somebody that is going through some sort of like life altering change right now?
Don't be afraid of change. Change is good. Pull out a journal, set some goals for the new year, and stick to the plan.
#135 - Wheelchair Athlete Poppy May: ‘It Can Be Your Anchor or Your Wings’ | The RunThrough Podcast
Q: Is there still hope that maybe one day that you could walk again?
Yes, there is, but it's uncertain when and why, as it's been seven and a half years in a wheelchair.
#135 - Wheelchair Athlete Poppy May: ‘It Can Be Your Anchor or Your Wings’ | The RunThrough Podcast
Q: Did you struggle with the kind of the definition of it?
Yes, 100% for the first six months after becoming disabled, I locked myself away and didn't want to talk to anyone or do anything.
#136 - How Aaliyah Unia Became a Leader for Muslim Women in Fitness | The RunThrough Podcast
Q: If there is somebody listening right now that is going through a lot of the same things that you went through and can really relate to a lot of the stuff you've said, like what would you say to them about getting into the world of health and fitness?
I would definitely say like intention is everything. The first piece of advice is to keep your grounding voice and reflect on why you are doing something. The second is to find your support system to help carry you through tough times, whether it's one person or a community.
#132 - What It Takes to Run 100KM (and Actually Enjoy It) | Emily Jane Fairs’ Ultra Running Story #RTPOD
