  • Really thought provoking

I always enjoy this podcast - it gets beyond the oppositional “argue a complex point without nuance in 30 seconds please” which passes for much political debate on the radio and tv and gives tricky topics room to breathe. And two excellent hosts!

  • Awesome podcast!

So good to have Ndidi and Laura back. I really enjoy the different subjects discussed and find the different viewpoints insightful and informative. Ndidi and Laura’s candidness and passion for the education sector always shine through even when they are on opposite sides of the debate. Definitely a podcast to have in your library.

  • Refreshingly different podcast

I love how this podcast tackles some of the biggest debates in education with good humour and fresh ideas. Laura and Ndidi’s energy and passion are infectious. Sometimes conversations about education policy debate get dominated by a few loud voices I really appreciate the way the hosts make topics accessible for a wider audience and the format really pushes the listener to decide where they stand on issues. Look forward to seeing more from this podcast.

Very engaging presenters, really interesting topics and debate carried out the way it should be - depersonalised and respectful of opposing viewpoints. Thank you!

  • More please

Having been on Maternity Leave for a year I have purposefully avoided all things “education” as I am one of those teachers described in the career episode who went from school to university and back to school and I wanted to see what life was like outside. However, doing this has made me really nervous about my return as I always prided myself on being up-to-date with educational news. These podcasts have really come at the right time for me and got me excited about returning to a job I love. more

  • Loved it

Great podcast on meaningful issues. Would love to hear what current teachers think about each issue, as the experts tend to be ex-teachers. Perhaps have a working teacher on the panel too to give their insight into current situations.

  • Crack for NQTs

I LOVE this podcast- please come back!! Very insightful and great to have a space where education policy is debated BY SPECIALISTS - rare and refreshing.

My only suggested change is to have a balance of guests to persuade about the issue- eg two in favour of the issue and two against, instead of one verses 3. OR you all try to persuade one classroom teacher who is genuinely undecided on the issue (this could change every week). Best of luck and I hope you come back!

  • Refreshing, practical and relevant

This is a long overdue platform that has finally taken shape and will indeed make us parents know, understand and challenge the education system for our children. I enjoy the engaging conversations based on topical issues and making them come to light. There is obviously some banter in the concept of this platform but that adds to its relevance and appeal. I will continue to listen to the discussion and be challenged by my current thoughts which I trust will allow me to make more informed dec... more

  • Great production

Debate is constructive, informative and not overly combative. Still very entertaining though. Good use of guest experts. Looking forward to future series...
