  • Mostly love

I love their research and the content they deliver. For me, Sharon’s interjections are sometimes hard to follow, and she interjects frequently. Derek is very patient.

  • The Best for Nearly 20 Years

In 2005, when I purchased my first iPod. It was true to it’s promise of holding thousands of hours of entertaining recordings. I discovered podcasts and used all 60 gigs to hold myriad ghost hunting, conspiracy and history podcasts. As a Christian - I always tuned out when the ghosty shows turned into New Age preaching - which they ALWAYS did. This lead to a new search for something that wasn’t Joel Osteen and wasn’t Serial Killers all the time.

This is when I discovered the world of P.I.D. Ra... more

  • Episodes not in order

I must be ignorant or the episodes were saved in a backwards order. Would have given 5stars if I could just let it play on it’s own without manually stopping each episode and choosing the correct one to play next. Please correct me if I’m wrong Derrick. Besides this annoyance it is a great way to cut your teeth on scripture. Great job Gilbert’s!

The hosts explain that the New Testament does not support restarting sacrificial systems during the millennium; any such ideas come from non-biblical interpretations and are not found in the Scriptures they study.
Gilbert House Fellowship #478: Amos 8–9
Q: How should listeners interpret the difference between the Septuagint and Masoretic readings in Amos, and does this affect the core message?
They acknowledge translation differences as a historical and textual nuance but argue that the overarching message of judgment, repentance, and restoration remains consistent, with attention to how word choices reflect the themes of judgment and mercy.
Gilbert House Fellowship #478: Amos 8–9
Q: 1 John 5:16–17 discusses sins that lead to death; can you clarify how venial vs mortal sins are understood in this context?
They explain that some sins are described as mortal if they persist in rejecting the truth about Jesus, while sins of weakness or short-term missteps are covered by grace; emphasis is on perseverance and the ongoing need for repentance, forgiveness, and living in accordance with the gospel.
Gilbert House Fellowship #470: 1 Enoch 43–49
Q: What about Ron Wyatt's discoveries?
Sharon states she believes Ron Wyatt found something, but questions remain about the veracity of his discoveries without corroboration by others.

Q: Do you differentiate between Ezekiel 38, 39, Revelation 19 and Revelation 20?
Yes, we see them as two separate events, connecting Ezekiel 38–39 with Armageddon while Revelation 20 is a separate event.
