I love their research and the content they deliver. For me, Sharon’s interjections are sometimes hard to follow, and she interjects frequently. Derek is very patient.
In 2005, when I purchased my first iPod. It was true to it’s promise of holding thousands of hours of entertaining recordings. I discovered podcasts and used all 60 gigs to hold myriad ghost hunting, conspiracy and history podcasts. As a Christian - I always tuned out when the ghosty shows turned into New Age preaching - which they ALWAYS did. I love you guys ! I

I really enjoy Derek and Sharon’s commentary as they read through chapters of the Bible. It really brings it to life, and captivated my attention.

Two longtime Bible study hosts lead in-depth, verse-by-verse explorations of biblical texts, often tying ancient context to contemporary events and practical applications. Episodes frequently blend rigorous exegesis with personal updates, ministry news, and calls to action (conferences, events, and media projects). A notable pattern is their focus on prophetic and apocryphal material, the Septuagint vs. Masoretic translations, and how history informs faith. The format is intimate and conversational, with a warm dynamic between the hosts that many listeners describe as knowledgeable, sincere, and encouraging for bible-based study groups. This show is likely to appeal to devout Christians seeking deep, context-rich study and thoughtful discus... more
