  • Shocked by lack of technology insights and macro economic knowledge

Heard yesterday‘s episode. Esp. the comments of Brett Winton were shocking considering lack of automotive industry factors in the 60‘s, robotics technologies, but still throwing around high numbers without explanation.

SpaceX IPO, Anthropic Fable 5, And Roku | The Brainstorm EP 136
Q: How does the Anthropic Fable controversy affect the broader AI ecosystem and regulatory expectations?
The incident underscores the push-and-pull between innovation and governance, with major players positioning themselves as gatekeepers or enablers of responsible access. The episode suggests that governance, KYC, and liability frameworks will evolve, but that open access and rapid iteration are likely to continue in some form, potentially with privacy-preserving identifiers and platform-level controls.
SpaceX IPO, Anthropic Fable 5, And Roku | The Brainstorm EP 136
Q: What makes SpaceX's valuation and revenue trajectory plausible given the 2030 trillion-dollar talk, and how do Starlink and AI satellites factor into that?
We project a multi-path growth where Starlink and data centers, amplified by AI initiatives, contribute to 300-400 billion in revenue by 2030, with upside if cash flow accelerates through faster manufacturing and capital efficiency. The trillion-dollar figure would require aggressive scaling and potential synergies or monetization of adjacent cash flows, possibly through higher hardware deployment and service expansion.
What Quantum Means For Bitcoin’s Future
Q: What is the most threatening aspect of quantum computing to Bitcoin today?
The most pressing concerns center on long-term security of keys and the need for post-quantum signatures that can replace current schemes without compromising the network's properties; the discussion emphasizes gradual migration and testable, conservative approaches.
From Binance To Beyond: CZ Predicts Crypto’s Next Phase
Q: What has surprised you most about crypto regulation and adoption since Binance's inception?
He notes faster institutional participation in crypto, shifts in US regulatory stance, the rise of tokenized assets and stablecoins, and the ongoing convergence of traditional finance with crypto, all contributing to a rapidly evolving landscape that rewards efficiency and lower costs.
From Binance To Beyond: CZ Predicts Crypto’s Next Phase
Q: What was your life story up until founding Binance, and how did you get into crypto?
CZ describes a path from China to Canada, education in Montreal, work at Bloomberg in Tokyo and New York, a fintech startup in Shanghai, discovering Bitcoin in 2013, and ultimately founding Binance in 2017 to address gaps missing in other exchanges during the ICO year.
