Quantum Intelligence w/ Paul Davies
Q: What is your favourite theory for quantum mechanics, and how do you think reality operates in your view?
I've drifted away from the many-universes idea because it can feel like a convenient escape from the core issues about measurement and mind. I favor approaches that keep mind, observation, and agency as integral to how reality unfolds, recognizing that the act of observation participates in defining physical properties rather than being merely a passive recording of an independent world.
Quantum Intelligence w/ Paul Davies
Q: Paul Davies, you have spent your career exploring some of the deepest questions humans can ask about life and the universe. And now, you're looking at the quantum world in your new book, Quantum 2.0. How would you describe the quantum world without descending into mathematics?
I describe quantum reality as a framework where uncertainty is not just ignorance but a fundamental property of nature, where measurement brings into being certain properties and where states can be blended or entangled. This gives us a picture of reality that is probabilistic and interconnected in ways that defy classical intuition, yet it is incredibly successful at predicting outcomes and enabling technologies.
Esports is Changing the World w/ Paul J. Foster
Q: The first question I have is what are some of the unrealised capabilities and perhaps opportunities of gaming and your field, esports?
Esports represents the future of entertainment through a global, connected ecosystem that supports creator economies, diversified career paths, and broad government incentives across education, healthcare, and fintech.
Artificial Biological Intelligence w/ Adrian Woolfson | World Governments Summit 2026
Q: What role does the human species have?
Woolfson highlights the importance of human creativity and questions whether humans can maintain their unique role in a world influenced by AI.
Applied Science Fiction w/ Stephen Oram
Q: What's one piece of advice you would give a budding writer interested in near future fiction?
Try to get your work published; it’s an important step to share your ideas with the world.
