  • Epstein, Lutnick and the Prince

Thanks for this excellent piece, informative with facts presented to the public. These alleged high profile “disgusting people” should be tried in court and if found guilty, punished to the fullest extent of the law, victims be compensated for pain and suffering, to set a precedent for this not to happen again.

  • Good except for Asma’s US bias

Generally a good podcast except that Asma is completely incapable of being objective when it comes to the US. She often comes across as an American propagandist and it’s embarrassing for someone who claims to be a journalist.

  • America hating tripe.

Aside from the hosts more interested in their own opinions and constantly interrupting guests, it became clear after only a few episodes that these people despise America. I try and find oversees podcasts to get a better handle on world events (as I am based out of CA), but this is bias driven drivel. I’m not sure how these people come to their conclusions, which is odd given the fact they push their positions to the point even the guests are mere pawns for their pretended gravitas. • A Great Window on Our World Issues

Such a great window on the world … with well chosen guests based on their knowledge and understanding of the issues being raised … which extend broad and far. Not sure why some other reviewers criticise the presenters, because I find both main anchors very good at their jobs … they set their guests at ease and tease from them all the necessary information and yet maintain focus!

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Is the International Criminal Court coming for Americans?
Q: What exactly is the ICC and who is it for? Could it really come after Americans?
The ICC is a court with jurisdiction over war crimes, crimes against humanity, and related offenses, but it only has jurisdiction under specific conditions and mainly over nationals of states party to the Rome Statute or crimes referred by the Security Council; the U.S. has not ratified, and consequently is not subject to ICC jurisdiction in the same way as member states, leading to debates about sovereignty and accountability.
Rubio, Antifa and the global threat from the far-left
Q: Is there a real security threat from left-wing groups in the United States, or is this summit in DC part of a political name-calling campaign?
Experts say there is some level of risk from left-wing violence, but the threats are uneven and generally less deadly than right-wing violence; the bigger issue is how rhetoric inflates perceived threats and influences policy rather than a single, organized left-wing terrorist network.
The air conditioning culture wars
Q: So in all of this, is air conditioning actually a one-size-fits-all solution that works for everything?
Graihagh explains that solutions must consider local energy grids, climate, and building design; passive cooling, urban planning, and selective use of air conditioning can together create a more sustainable approach rather than assuming universal applicability.
Is the American century over? Your questions answered
Q: With India's rise and the broader South, where does the US fit in the new order, and can alliances stay balanced without ceding too much to one side?
India's growth and strategic autonomy mean it won't align squarely with any single bloc, requiring nuanced diplomacy and adaptive partnerships that balance interests with regional and global realities.
Is the American century over? Your questions answered
Q: Jeremy, over the course of our lifetimes, how has the way the United States is perceived around the world changed?
Perceptions have shifted from admiration for a postwar hegemon with broad credibility to a more mixed view, reflecting concerns about isolationism, foreign policy choices, and domestic inequalities that color how abroad power and ideals are seen.
