Childish and dumb. These hosts are terrible. Cheerio? Seriously? Pathetic way of ending your episodes
This is a great podcast. Neither two hosts are annoying! Likable and well informed. They make subjects that maybe I’d be less interested in, interesting!
the bibi broadcasting corporation wears centrism like a cheap suit. like the ny times. they lie, they equivocate. the best thing companies like these can do to protect their legacy would be to shut down for good, sell off all their assets, and declare the entire operation a mulligan. seriously though, they’re just lousy, capitalist propagandists
Incredibly Eurocentric ignoring the work on the wealth of societies in which sophisticated oral histories/legal systems/traditions existed. Also ignores the rich pre-c18th histories of ‘peasant’ uprisings and rebellions in Europe itself by peoples the expert would perceive as illiterate/unable to grapple with ideas of rights/customs/inequalities.
I dip in and out of this podcast, listening to ones that pique my interest. The ones I’ve listened to I enjoy. Length fits well with a lunchtime stroll.
