But they are also a symptom of it. With Asma Khalid in DC, Tristan Redman in London, and the backing of the BBC’s international newsroom, The Global Story brings clarity to politics, business and foreign policy in a time ... more

Getting rid of World at One and keeping this superficial podcast… BBC what are you doing?
Generally a good podcast except that Asma is completely incapable of being objective when it comes to the US. She often comes across as an American propagandist and it’s embarrassing for someone who claims to be a journalist.

Such a great window on the world … with well chosen guests based on their knowledge and understanding of the issues being raised … which extend broad and far. Not sure why some other reviewers criticise the presenters, because I find both main anchors very good at their jobs … they set their guests at ease and tease from them all the necessary information and yet maintain focus!
