  • For Anyone Doing Everything Right and Still Exhausted

Kendra gets it. This podcast is for parents who are showing up, doing the work, and still wondering why they feel so depleted. No judgment, no toxic positivity, but actual real conversations about what's happening underneath the overwhelm.

I appreciate that she goes beyond surface-level self-care advice. The episodes on attachment patterns and childhood wiring helped me understand why my nervous system was stuck in overdrive even when life looked manageable on paper.

Short episodes that fit into... more

  • Highly Recommend

Fulfillment Therapy is the kind of podcast that makes you pause mid-walk and think, “Wow. I needed that.”

The conversations go beyond surface-level self-improvement and into the deeper layers of identity, nervous system health, and what it truly means to feel aligned in your life. It’s thoughtful without being heavy, therapeutic without being clinical, and practical without being preachy.

Every episode feels like a grounded conversation with someone who actually understands the complexity of g... more

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

341 | Why Do So Many Midlife Women Feel Empty—Even When Their Life Looks “Good”? Part 2, With Heiki Yates
Q: What is one way that you've recently deepened your own sense of fulfillment?
The guest shares that returning to a long-loved but previously set-aside hobby—playing the saxophone—has brought her personal joy, illustrating that small, tangible rituals and learning can renew energy and fulfillment even later in life.
343 | Overwhelmed, Exhausted, and Snapping? How to Rebuild Family Calm from the Inside Out, with Todd Sarner Part 2
Q: Do you have pointers on how they can start changing that narrative and build more compassion when one partner isn't always on board?
Educate yourself on different narratives and regulate your own nervous system first; seek guidance from a coach, therapist, or supportive group to help you implement proactive, non-reactive parenting.
340 | Why Do So Many Midlife Women Feel Empty—Even When Their Life Looks “Good”? With Heiki Yates
Q: How do you help clients move from feeling stuck to taking action?
We start with listening to their stories, then introduce tangible practices—curiosity about new possibilities and clear boundaries—to protect their energy and encourage small, meaningful changes.
340 | Why Do So Many Midlife Women Feel Empty—Even When Their Life Looks “Good”? With Heiki Yates
Q: What inspired you to focus on this in-between phase for midlife women?
I see a gap where women feel pulled between caregiving and their own needs, and the Spark Framework provides practical steps, like curiosity and boundaries, to reclaim energy and identity.
338 | Can You Fix a Marriage Alone? How Personal Growth Transforms Relationships, with Lee Baucom
Q: What is the core problem that gets marriages in trouble, and how do you approach it with clients?
The core issue is a latent disconnection that builds while couples focus on roles and life demands; my approach is to identify and address the disconnection by guiding one partner to take deliberate, doable actions that gradually rebuild three levels of connection, rather than waiting for both to change at once.
