  • Insightful, intriguing, and unique!

Wade’s podcast is always an amazing listen. Interesting guests that seem to really open up and a inside look into the industry not covered in depth by anyone else. Happy to see these podcasts come back under the Escape Collective.

Each episode on the pandemic boom/bust cycling industry had me craving more.

Keep up the great work, I share this pod with non-cycling friends who find the business histories to be interesting themselves.

Q: Can you tell me about some of those early rides that were pivotal to the formation of Albion in those early days?

How Matt Keenan Found His Voice in Cycling (replay)
Q: How would you describe yourself back then, and maybe even now? What was your natural disposition? Were you an introvert, an extrovert? What was natural for you?
I was somewhere in the middle. I actually quite, I'm quite good in my own company. I'm pretty good at doing things on my own, but I also, I love being around people. I get a lot of energy out of being around other people, but you got to pick the people that you're around as well.
How Matt Keenan Found His Voice in Cycling (replay)
Q: What did that bike represent to you in your life at that time? Did it, was it freedom? Did it get you into BMX racing? What did you use it for?
It represented exploration. So you could get a little bit further away from mum and dad. You could explore the local park.
