  • Great podcast, content, and guests!

Recently found the Men's Therapy podcast and really appreciate it! The guests and topics are so interesting and informative! Enjoyed your conversation with Janet Elaine Schmit. What really resonated with me was her journey, seeing angels and how she came to learn about energy and consciousness. Her story of reprogramming her energy and beliefs from self-limiting to self-enhancing beliefs was inspiring. Tons of amazing takeaways in this episode!

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Harnessing Inner Child Work for Mental Fitness w/ Aidan Lee
Q: How does your program structure training for busy dads, especially those who are divorced or separated?
The guest describes a hierarchical approach: prioritize consistent training first to build habit, then layer in nutrition, sleep, and stress management, while keeping a focus on practicality and accountability. He emphasizes family involvement and adaptable coaching to fit varied schedules and responsibilities.
Harnessing Inner Child Work for Mental Fitness w/ Aidan Lee
Q: What motivated you to start FitRoots and focus on dads in particular?
Aidan explains that his own martial arts lineage and the realization that modern training often neglects the mental and philosophical aspects drove him to create a program that fuses physical discipline with mindset work, catering specifically to fathers who want to lead by example and balance family life with personal growth.
Therapy STRUGGLES Faced by Black Men w/ Dr. Curtis Jasper
Q: How does the industry fail Black men and what can be changed?
The industry often misses the humanity of Black men, treating them as problems to solve rather than people with rich emotional lives; solutions include listening deeply, validating shared experiences, and embedding culturally competent approaches that honorBlack masculinity and community ties.
Warrior Energy and the Journey of Masculine Healing w/ Dene Sebastiana
Q: What message do you have for Gen Z or younger men who feel drawn to harmful outlets or toxic “man box” narratives?
Encourage seeking safe, elder-guided circles, engage in therapy, and build environments that validate vulnerability and accountability; mentorship and community can redirect energy toward healing rather than self-destruction.
Warrior Energy and the Journey of Masculine Healing w/ Dene Sebastiana
Q: What distinguishes the warrior energy from the savage, and how should men wield anger?
Anger is a fire energy that can be conscious and protective when guided by clarity and boundaries, whereas savage energy causes harm; the goal is mastery and discernment in using energy to protect what is sacred.
