  • The first time I felt truly seen and understood

    I’ve seen many different therapists throughout my adult life, but nothing really clicked because I never felt truly understood. The intrusive thoughts I shared were often pushed aside, belittled, or met with comments like “just think positive.” I felt alien to other people and couldn’t understand why.
