I’ve only just discovered this podcast, but I’ve already barreled through many episodes and wept tears of gratitude for the insights I’ve gained. I feel less alone today, and more equipped to handle tomorrow.
I love the podcast. It’s really helped me heal on my journey with this recent diagnosis. However, I wish they’d be more careful with the language they choose to use. Rose often describes bpd behavior as horrible or awful and I don’t think that’s helpful to people who have recently come upon their diagnosis who are only doing their best with the tools they currently have. I am a mom of a 16 year old daughter, who checks all the boxes for BPD. Raising her has been bumpy and chaotic since she was 5 due to her hyperbolic temperament. Through the years the behaviors have become riskier and more destructive with many diagnosis, therapy, and hospital visits.
