  • So grateful for this amazing resource

Thank you Free Library of Philadelphia for hosting so many amazing authors and for sharing the events on this podcast for those of us who can't be there in person. This is a wonderful series. The authors you feature are diverse as are their writings - politics, biography, novels, poetry... It's a great way to discover new authors and a wonderful way to hear again from those who are more well known.

  • Extremists Only

When you hear the word “library,” you may think of freedom of thought, freedom of ideals, a far ranging resource for a plethora of views. Not so with this author event/interview series. The writers are mostly from the Far Left of the spectrum, and if there were a hint of allowing the opposite side to be heard, this would be a podcast worth subscribing to. Now it simply remains an echo chamber.

This library is a major educational and cultural resource. Materials and on-line content are available free to anyone living, working or attending school in Pennsylvania and, for a small fee, peo... more

  • Sometimes the sound quality is bad

I love this podcast so much but sometimes it’s unlistenable because they don’t mix the live audio for the podcast. Donate to the library so they can hire an AV person!
